不射精
Traditional Chinese Medicine Definition
In traditional Chinese medicine, the condition of not ejaculating is referred to as "jing bi," which describes a condition where, during sexual intercourse, although the penis can become erect, the individual does not reach orgasm and seminal fluid is unable to be naturally expelled from the body. In internal medicine, this condition is often associated with patterns such as liver depression and qi stagnation, or kidney essence deficiency.
The pathogenesis of not ejaculating primarily involves dysfunction of the liver and kidney organs. In clinical practice, common precipitating factors include emotional disturbances and kidney exhaustion due to overexertion. During differentiation, it is important to differentiate the following key points: liver depression and qi stagnation is characterized by depression, fullness in the chest and hypochondria; kidney essence deficiency manifests as weakness in the lower back and knees, dizziness, and tinnitus. In the process of differentiation, attention should also be paid to distinguishing between cold and heat, as well as deficiency and excess, to guide clinical treatment. The overall direction of treatment suggests that for liver depression and qi stagnation, the main approach is to soothe the liver, relieve depression, and open the orifice of the essence; for kidney essence deficiency, the principle of treatment is to tonify the kidney and replenish essence, and nourish the essence gate. It is traditionally believed in Chinese medicine that by adjusting the functions of the internal organs, restoring the normal opening and closing of the essence gate, the condition of not ejaculating can be treated.
