Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD), also known as Herpangina, falls under the category of pediatric diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. In treatment, traditional Chinese medicine often adopts methods such as clearing heat and detoxifying, transforming dampness and promoting eruption, or clearing heat and cooling the nutrient, detoxifying and removing dampness, for regulation. The overall direction of regulation suggests that attention should be paid to clearing heat and detoxifying, harmonizing the spleen and stomach, to eliminate the cause and alleviate symptoms.
